A rough clean runs during construction — debris out, floors swept, surfaces cleared so trades can keep working. The final clean comes at substantial completion: HEPA extraction of drywall dust from every surface, window and frame detailing, sticker and protective-film removal, adhesive and paint-spot removal, floors finished to move-in standard. The touch-up runs 24–48 hours before handover and catches dust that resettles plus anything the deficiency walkthrough flags. Most projects book final plus touch-up; larger builds add rough cleans between trades.

Drywall dust is fine enough to hang in the air for hours and pass straight through a standard vacuum bag. We run HEPA-filtered vacuums that capture particles down to 0.3 microns and work top-down — ceilings, vents, and ledges before walls and floors — so nothing gets cleaned twice. Even then, airborne dust keeps settling for a day or two after the final clean. That's exactly why the touch-up phase exists: it's part of the process, not a sign the first pass failed.

Yes — with the method matched to the surface. Stickers and protective film come off glass and appliances with plastic scrapers and adhesive remover. Dried latex paint spots lift with warm water and a plastic blade. Razor scraping is fine on standard annealed glass but can scratch tempered panes, so we test a corner first. Grout haze comes off new tile with a dedicated haze remover — never acid near natural stone. Anything that can't come off safely gets flagged to the GC instead of forced.

Yes — most of our post-construction work happens while painters, electricians, and flooring crews are still finishing. We carry $10M Commercial General Liability, our staff are bonded, and WSIB clearance certificates go to your site super before we mobilize. Crews wear site-required PPE, complete your orientation where the GC asks for it, and clean zone-by-zone behind the trades so finished rooms stay finished instead of being re-dusted the next morning.
