An electrostatic sprayer puts a positive charge on every disinfectant droplet, so the mist is pulled toward surfaces and wraps around them — the backs of chair legs, keyboard edges, door hardware, the underside of handrails — instead of only landing where a cloth reaches. A cloth cleans the one face it touches; the charged mist coats the whole shape. That even, fast coverage across rooms full of complex objects is the real advantage over hand-wiping.
We spray Vital Oxide, a Health Canada-registered disinfectant that carries its own DIN plus EPA registration, effective against SARS-CoV-2, influenza, norovirus, bacteria, mould and mildew. Registration means nothing without dwell time: the surface has to stay visibly wet for the label contact time — 10 minutes for the virus claims — or the kill rate on the label simply doesn't apply. Our crews spray to hold surfaces wet through that full window, not a quick pass-and-leave.
No — and anyone selling it that way is selling theatre. Disinfectant can't work through dirt; grease, dust and body oils neutralise it before it reaches a single germ, so misting an un-wiped surface does nothing. Electrostatic disinfection layers on top of routine cleaning: surfaces get de-soiled and wiped first, then the charged mist disinfects what's already clean. It's an added step for high-touch coverage, never a substitute for daily cleaning.
Worth it: outbreak cleanup (norovirus, flu, COVID), flu season in shared-equipment rooms like gyms, daycares and clinics, and any site with lots of complex high-touch objects to cover quickly. Probably overkill: a small office where a solid daily wipe-down already handles the high-touch points. We'll tell you if you don't need it. Most clients run it seasonally or as a monthly reset and rely on routine cleaning the rest of the year.

Vital Oxide is low-fume and safe around people once dry; surfaces dry within minutes and rooms are back in use in roughly 10–15 minutes. No evacuation, no lingering chemical smell, and nothing to wipe off afterward.
Yes. The sprayer lays down a fine, even mist rather than a soaking, so it's safe on computers, monitors, POS terminals, gym machines and medical equipment — no pooling, no residue once dry. Anything you'd rather keep bone-dry we mask off or hand-wipe instead. Point out sensitive items during the walkthrough and we'll flag them so nothing gets sprayed that shouldn't be.
