Electrostatic Disinfection

What Is Electrostatic Disinfection?

A lot of people are asking what is Electrostatic Disinfection? A cleaning method atomizes cleaning solutions to produce an electrically charged spray able to wrap around surfaces of all types for an even coat. As a chemical exits the electrostatic sprayer, it’s given a positive charge that is attracted to available negative surfaces. The spray attaches to and collects negatively charged unwanted particles, which are then removed from the environment with a specially designed apparatus. Surfaces that are already covered in the cleaning solution will repel the spray, making the method extremely efficient.

Our Technology

Our Professional Cordless Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer is designed to allow the professional to cover up to 23,000 square feet on a single tank of fluid (coverage per tank is determined by internal testing using flow rate and particle size). In addition, it is designed to save time and labor, spray less liquid, and cover more surfaces. Patented technology provides an electrical charge to solutions, allowing them to wrap conductive surfaces with an effective and even coverage. Double-charged particles envelope all conductive surfaces – shadowed, vertical and underneath!

After encountering a positive COVID-19 case tied to a customer last Saturday, a Hamilton bar opted to take on a disinfecting operation with a device that’s been hard to come by since the pandemic began in March.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Cause and Effect kitchen and bar on Stone Church Road East said the alleged infected patron was at the business between 8 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, July 25.

The bar’s response to the episode was to hire a Hamilton company that says it’s been ‘bombarded’ with calls since Stage 3 of the province’s reopening plan.
